6.28.12 // Zig Zag.

Dress, Acne / Belt, Reiss / Sunglasses, Ray Ban

A day of rest.  Why cant there be more of these?  Spent the day organizing my house and continuing the never ending saga of moving in (going on three months now).

I really love a great find and this Acne dress from theoutnet.com was that.  I love the elegance of long dresses; it never gets old for me.  I feel like a should start a blog on maxi dresses and skirts I love them so much!  Idea... :)  Kept it casual with a leather jacket and a pair of Ray Bans.

6.10.12 // Summer is for Lovers.

It finally feels like Summer and the days are so sunny and beautiful! in my native land.  I feel at home in the sun and heat.  Felt the urge for vintage so I pulled out a 70's dress from Tell Tale Hearts to fit my mood.  Super busy as usual but deep down I love my work no matter how much I complain (which is a lot. lol!)  Wishing I was poolside in Palm Springs again baking in 112 degree weather though.  Yes, Im crazy.  What does everyone else have planed for the season?!  I would love to know! :)

6.6.12 // Mannequin.

Asymmetrical top, Sheinside / Skirt, Helmut Lang / Bag, Rebecca Minkoff / Necklace, Fallon

Recovering from a pretty crazy car accident this past week. No fun at all. Though the time off is a nice break, I am even missing work at this point.  Spent the weekend in Palm Springs with my husband and a couple of our good friends.  I truly love the heat.  Laying by the pool doing nothing was probably the best recovery I could have had.  Lots of Black Keys, Beck, and Portishead.  All things good. :)

6.1.12 // Melrose Trading Post.

Last weekend I had an amazing time at the Melrose Trading Post at Fairfax High School!  If you have never been, it is a sea of killer vintage and handmade goods.  I snagged a beautiful vintage fox fur coat in PERFECT condition which is so hard to find and I can not wait for it to get cold enough to wear.  I also came across a ceramic Native American statue for my house which I had to plead with the seller to buy because I ran out of money.  Thank you sir!!  Lastly, I had a cool leather strip key chain handmade on the spot by a talented jewelry maker.  My husband has something similar and I couldn't help but be a little jealous and get my own.  Full of vintage clothes, furniture, jewelry and trinkets, the market is a wonderful way to spend a beautiful day in LA.
