2.27.11 // Metro.

I am typically not the first to jump at articles of clothing with pink in them, but, i had to find a suitable dress for my friend Shanes Valentines Day party. I fell in love with this pink and nude stripe Phillip Lim keyhole dress. I guess it is technically only half pink :) The wedges are Pour la Victoire which I bought on sale on shopbop last year but had yet to crack open the box! Im crazy because they are CUTE! The bag is Diane von Furstenberg, hat is ASOS, and cardigan is 7 for all mankind which I have had for about 3 years but love just the same. Im glad I got to sneak wearing a dress for a day because now it is raining again and it so cold!

2.21.11 // In Still Motion.

Out on a rainy day and completely smitten with my new Alexander Wang Kirsten Satchel. Have been on a bit of a bag binge this last month but considering how picky I am about them, I snatch a good thing when I see it. Im going to be using it a lot. Yes, I didn't think about the weather when I put shorts on and became quite aware of it when I got outside but was too lazy to change again. Have had this Lorick silk tank for a while and have been in love with the brand since visiting the showroom where they are at. For the first time, I am a bit inspired by Spring Collections this year. Cant wait for it to warm up! :)

2.16.11 // Sunny Days are Far Aways.

So I bought this Helmut Lang Shearling Jacket back in September for my self as a birthday present but never had a chance to take any photos in it. Now that we are officially in Spring/Summer of the fashion calendar, I did not want it to get left behind as the days grow steadily warmer. I'm not sure why I was so obsessed with jackets this past season but they seem to now be eating up prime real estate in my closet! Got the hat from Fred Segal in Santa Monica; it's a brand called Hat Attack out of NY and they had a bunch of cool designs to choose from. I will definitely get my wear out of it being the white ghost that I am. The 7 For all Mankind flares I have had for about 3 years now from way back when I worked for the company. They are pretty amazing. And the new Dita sunglasses I cant peel off my face because I'm so in love with them from Barneys.

2.1.11 // Sunset Dreamer.

Silk Button Up, Theory // Faux Leather Shorts, Forever 21

Wandering around Los Angeles can be the best backdrop for an amazing photo. This is a set by LA native photographer, Wolf, in Echo Park. Venturing around the East end of Sunset Boulevard and inside vintage stores, the area still seems to have a nostalgic quality about it. Very urban and gritty, you can expect to find funky little shops, laundry mats, and hole in the wall eateries. We shot inside an amazing vintage store called A's American Vintage where you can still find true one of a kind authentic pieces from many different eras without the trendy Melrose markup. It was a fun day of warm California sun and fashion.
